How to cook it
- Venezuelan sancocho: With yuca, plantain, corn and vegetables. 2-3h over a low heat.
- Hen broth: 3-4h slow cooking. Golden, intense result.
- Pressure cooker: 45 min with vegetables. Perfect broth in less time.
- Cocido: With chickpeas, vegetables and meats. A hearty one-pot meal.
⚡ Tip: Hen needs MORE time than chicken – at least 2h. The meat is firmer and the broth tastier.

Chilled delivery with SEUR Frío, with a cold chain of 2 to 8 °C all the way to your door.
- Madrid: our own home delivery (about 30 km around the shop) or pick-up in the shop.
- Mainland Spain, Portugal and France: orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday; usually, anything ordered before 15:00 goes out the same day.
Shipping is calculated at checkout, based on weight and your area. This product is not shipped outside mainland Spain, Portugal and France.
Storage: keep in the fridge at 0-4 °C. Chicken is highly perishable: eat within 2 days of receiving it or freeze it straight away.
