Patacón is one of the cornerstones of Venezuelan and Colombian cooking. A slice of green plantain, flattened, pre-cooked and frozen, ready for its second fry, which gives it that signature texture: crunchy outside, soft inside. Versatile and delicious, it works as a base for dishes, as a side or as a snack any time of day.

How to cook it
- Fried (traditional method): Without thawing, fry straight from frozen in plenty of oil at 175°C for 3-4 min per side until deep golden and crispy.
- Oven: 200°C for 15-20 min, brush with oil before baking for a perfect golden finish.
- Air fryer: 185°C for 10-12 min per side.
Serving ideas: Base for patacón pisao with carne mechada and guacamole, a side for pabellón, or simply with salt and grated white cheese.

- Madrid: our own home delivery (about 30 km around the shop) or collection in store.
- Mainland Spain, Portugal and France: orders go out Monday to Thursday; as a rule, anything ordered before 15:00 goes out the same day.
Delivery is calculated at checkout, based on weight and your area. This product is not shipped outside mainland Spain, Portugal and France.
Storage: frozen product. Keep at -18 °C. Once thawed, do not refreeze.
