Fried ripe plantain is one of the best-loved side dishes in Venezuelan and Caribbean cooking. Sweet, caramelised outside and soft inside, it is the perfect partner for pabellón criollo, arepas, rice with caraotas and any dish of Latin cuisine. Ripened to the perfect point and frozen to keep all their sweetness.

How to prepare them
- Fried (classic method): Without fully thawing, fry in hot oil at 170°C for 3-4 min per side until caramelised. The result: golden, sweet and irresistible.
- Oven-baked: Preheat to 200°C, place on a tray lined with baking paper and bake for 20 min, turning halfway through.
- In an air fryer: 180°C for 12-15 min. Less oil, same caramelised flavour.
Pairing: Perfect as a side for Venezuelan pabellón criollo (rice, black caraotas, carne mechada and white cheese).

- Madrid: our own home delivery (about 30 km around the shop) or collection in store.
- Mainland Spain, Portugal and France: orders go out Monday to Thursday; as a rule, anything ordered before 15:00 goes out the same day.
Delivery is calculated at checkout, based on weight and your area. This product is not shipped outside mainland Spain, Portugal and France.
Storage: frozen product. Keep at -18 °C. Once thawed, do not refreeze.
